NVIDIA-Certified Associate: AI Infrastructure and Operations
Passed the NVIDIA-Certified Associate: AI Infrastructure and Operations (NCA-AIIO) exam. Badge issued by NVIDIA on July 31, 2026.
The exam covers the NVIDIA software stack, AI/ML/DL fundamentals, GPU versus CPU architectures, data center facility requirements, AI cluster and job scheduling essentials, and virtualizing accelerated infrastructure.
It is a multiple-choice exam with no hands-on part, but I went the lab route anyway while preparing — building a Kubernetes GPU cluster on an old gaming laptop and then working through GPU operations on it. Both write-ups are here:
Doing the labs made the exam topics stick — DCGM telemetry, the GPU Operator validation chain, time-slicing, Triton and TensorRT, scheduling under contention — instead of staying slideware.
